With the fast approaching release of NHL 10, we are proud to announce that we will keep updating the roster for the NHL 10 game by EA Sports.

This started off on the Gamespot forums and soon the idea for a website was kicked round and eventually came to life, and thus the NHL 09 CAP's page was created. Although this website is now for NHL 10 we transferred everything to a new website so for those of you who still want to update NHL 09 you can do so by clicking here. We will continue to update the 09 website until NHL 10 launches and maybe some more after that once everything gets updated.

With the new website look for a couple new features to come along as well.

Up-To-Date Transaction List
Unfortunately you cannot receive the game with an up to date roster, this is where we come in. Like the NHL 09 page we made, we will provide a list of transactions for every league so your roster will be completely up to date. We will edit the rosters as every transaction is made and accommodate change for Opening Night.

2010 Draft Cap List
In this years game you are able to edit the draft list (as mentioned in this video by Gamespot) so you can have an accurate and up to date draft. As the ISS Rankings are released the list will change to stay current!

Retro Jersey Templates
This feature hinges on the options that 'Create-A-Team' presents us. We will post old style NHL jersey templates for your Create-A-Team or EASHL.

These are just a few features we will be working on for the website as well as a few you'll just have to see on launch day, and when September 15th comes around, this website will be fully operational and updated within 24 hours. NHL, AHL rosters and CAPS will be priority and slowly we'll integrate European team CAPS depending on what the CAP limit will be.

As we all anxiously await the launch of this game, be sure to stay up to date with the following websites:

Gamespot
IGN
Operation Sports
EA: Inside Blog
Official NHL 10 Website

With EA Sports and PetrPuck's NHL 10 CAPs, It's in the game!

Hi! I'm new to this website (the NHL 09 one) and I have a question: did you modify the attributes for each player of the league, or do you only create the new rookies ans such?

I have been searching through the site and the only CAPs I find are those for young players turning pro. Per example, if I find that Saku Koivu's NHL 09 overall is too high and want to edit it, is there any way to find the work you've done on every player (if you've done it).

I keep going around on the site and I can't find anything. The latest comments entry date from april, and even the supposedly updated rosters are the one from the end of the season, with no FA signings or transactions whatsoever.

Can you tell me how I find every player you've updated or created, please?

Thanks and bravo for your work!

Is there a CAP limit this year?

I'm not sure if there's a CAP limit this year or not but every other year has had one so there probably is sadly. I'll let you know since I will most likely hit it before anyone else haha!
